Sacred Music

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. – Psalm 100: 1-2

The musicians at Saint John Vianney seek to serve God and enhance the Church’s liturgical celebrations. We have been blessed with an exceptional organ that supports and encourages our voices in prayer and praise of God during the Mass.

The Sacred Music program includes cantors, organists, monthly and seasonal choir, as well as other instrumentalists. The choir rehearses most Thursdays at 7pm.

Music has the power to lead us back … to the Creator of all harmony, creating a resonance within us which is like being in tune with the beauty and truth of God,
with the reality which no human knowledge or philosophy can ever express.
